Special Notice Regarding Minors
We do not intentionally collect personal data from minors under the age of 14. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will immediately delete it. Collection and Access of Personal Data
Shenzhen Futian District Shang Cheng Optical (hereinafter referred to as “Shang Cheng,” “Shang Cheng Optical,” or “we”) may from time to time invite you to provide us with personal data, such as your name, date of birth, contact telephone number, mailing address, email, payment details and methods, and account data related to membership registration. We will collect the above data for the following purposes:
• Register and manage your membership with Shang Cheng Optical;
• Process your online appointment services for product trials, lens consultations, and optometric examinations;
• Verify your identity and/or online purchase records for Click-and-Collect services;
• Process your event registration and attendance;
• Process your product transactions;
• Process your return requests or product repair requests during the warranty period;
• Process your product refund requests;
• Arrange appointments with registered optometrists;
• Process your subscription to our newsletters;
• Provide you with various customer services, responses, telephone replies, and answer inquiries;
• Promote and market our products and services to you;
• Conduct customer surveys;
• Conduct data research or statistical analysis;
• Maintain our interests and prevent any security threats (including but not limited to threats to our IT infrastructure);
• Protect, identify, and prevent fraud and other criminal activities, claims, and other liabilities;
• Comply with or adhere to any binding rules, laws, regulations, codes of practice, or guidelines issued by legal or regulatory authorities to us;
• Enforce our terms and conditions and other agreements, including investigating any potential violations;
• Process various responses and requests you make to us; and
• Any other incidental business purposes related or incidental to the above.
Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Data
For the above purposes, we may transfer your personal data to the following categories of third parties: customer relationship management agents, marketing and public relations agents, e-commerce agents, market research institutions, and online payment systems. Regarding credit card data provided in any online order, unless we notify you otherwise, we will only share it with our payment partners and not with any other third parties, and will only use such data to process orders submitted by you through our payment partner’s system.
We may also transfer your personal data to any business partners, investors, assignors, or assignees (actual or potential) to facilitate business asset transactions involving the company (or extending to any merger, acquisition, or asset sale), or to any third party to whom we transfer or may transfer our rights and obligations.
If we need to transfer your personal data to any third party, we will ensure compliance with the provisions of the “Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China (effective from November 1, 2021)” (“PIPL”), including ensuring that the recipient is obligated to provide at least the level of protection required by the PIPL for data transfers.
User License and Retention of Personal Data
By registering as our member, subscribing to, or using our services, you agree to authorize us to use your personal data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy until you request withdrawal of consent in writing. You may withdraw your authorization for us to collect, use, and/or disclose your personal data for any or all of the above purposes by email or by mailing to the contact details listed below.
Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw consent, we will require a reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and whether the processing involves any third parties, to be determined on a case-by-case basis) to process your request. Thereafter, we will cease to collect, use, and/or disclose your personal data as requested by you, subject to any exceptions permitted or required by applicable laws.
Please note that if you withdraw your authorization for us to collect or use any or all of your personal data, we may be unable to provide you with products and/or services.

When we reasonably believe that the retention of data no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected and is no longer required for legal or business purposes, we will cease retaining your personal data or delete the means by which the data can be linked to you.
Accuracy, Access, and Modification of Personal Data
We require your assistance in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the personal data you provide to us. If there are any changes to your personal data, or if you believe that the personal data we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or outdated, please provide us with the latest data.
In accordance with the PIPL and other applicable laws, you have the right to request access to and modification of your personal data from us. In accordance with the PIPL and other applicable laws, we have the right to charge you directly for relevant and necessary fees for your request to access or modify personal data. We will notify you of such fees before processing your request.
We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable. If we are unable to respond within thirty (30) days of receiving your request, we will notify you in writing within thirty (30) days of the time by which we can respond to the relevant request. If we are unable to allow you to access your personal data or modify the personal data as requested, we will generally inform you of the reasons why we cannot process it (unless we are not required to state the reasons under the PIPL).
This Privacy Policy applies only to us and our website. If this website provides links to URLs or web pages operated by any third parties, please refer to the privacy policies of those URLs and web pages before providing personal data to the third parties operating them (whether through our website or otherwise). We will not be responsible for any personal data you submit to third parties.
Use of Personal Data for Promotional Activities
We may use your personal data (including your name, contact details, and other data we have collected) to provide you with information about eyewear and eyewear products and services, including brand updates, trends, news, offers, promotions, marketing campaigns, social networks, exhibitions, and new store information, via email, telephone, SMS, mail, WeChat, WhatsApp, and other instant messaging platforms. Relevant products and services may be provided by Shang Cheng Optical and provided by Shang Cheng Optical.
We may also provide your personal data to our business partners for promotional activities (such as special offers, concerts, music events, and promotional activities for performing arts events and special events).
You may indicate in the personal data collection statement section of our membership application form your objection to our transfer and use of your personal data for direct marketing related to Shang Cheng Optical. If you do not agree to the use and/or provision of your personal data to others for direct marketing purposes, we will not use or transfer your personal data for such purposes. You may opt out of receiving promotional information from us and our business partners at any time and without charge.
